Job Description
CycleStreet is a well-established bike retail and workshop store based just outside the historic walls of York, known as a cycling city. Catering to most disciplines with a lean towards commute & MTB and a growing representation of e-bikes we work with brands including Scott, Bergamont, Merida, VanMoof, Frog, Squish, Hope, MET and Schwalbe.
We are looking for a Shop Floor Manager to work with the owner to continue to build our growing York city centre store. After a turbulent few years post Covid, the cycle industry needs hard work to rebuild and rejuvenate. Your work will be critical in ensuring the team meets its goals and customer satisfaction.
No two days are ever the same when the public are involved. Our ideal candidate will be an aspiring natural leader with a growing business and retail mindset. You should be adept in organizing and solving problems. Interpersonal and mediation skills are essential, since you’ll often be acting as a point of contact between owner, employees and customers. You must also be a bike rider, in any discipline, but someone who enjoys everything about riding bikes and is comfortable talking about bikes and accessories in detail.
Your goal is to maximise the efficency of the business and maximise the satisfaction of our customers.
Immediate start for the right person.
